Celebrating Leadership and Legacy
Sequentur was proud to attend the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon hosted by the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
Sequentur CFO and owner, Laura Gruzdev, and our Managing Director of Sales & Marketing, Holly Haggerty, represented Sequentur at this year’s event. As proud Girl Scout moms themselves, both Laura and Holly were moved by the powerful stories shared during the ceremony.
The Women of Distinction event has honored outstanding women in the Tampa Bay region for over three decades, and this year’s honorees included community trailblazers Joyce Cotton, Dr. Kanika Tomalin, The Honorable Kathryn Starkey, Ann Shaler, and Hall of Fame inductee Maruchi Azorin. These women have not only excelled in their careers but have uplifted their communities, served as mentors, and led with vision and heart.
Special recognition also went to Mattie Velasco, the 2025 Woman of Promise, whose work in behavioral health and advocacy reflects the same values of courage, confidence, and character that Girl Scouts instill in every girl.
“It was a beautiful event,” said Holly Haggerty. “We had the chance to connect with so many incredible leaders, including Mary Pat King, CEO of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. You could feel the energy of legacy and leadership in the room.”
As a company rooted in service and driven by values, Sequentur is proud to support organizations like the Girl Scouts that empower girls to become future leaders. Whether we’re managing cybersecurity for a multi-site business or mentoring the next generation, we believe in showing up, stepping up, and lifting up others.
To all the honorees—congratulations, and thank you for lighting the way.
